The one lesson I wished I had learned all those years ago is that there is one traffic generation source that is the 'king' of traffic. There are a few traffic sources that work very well, and in my opinion, by combining them, you can "compound" your traffic for constant profit gains.
In other words, article marketing alone is not likely to make you rich unless you belong to the 0.01% of article marketers who go all-out on it and submit dozens of articles every day. Pay per click advertising alone is not going to build a full-time business unless you have a sizable budget. So what is the solution? Combine different traffic sources and grow each of them slowly each day. Soon enough, all your traffic sources will combine to bring you massive amounts of traffic that you couldn't stop unless you pulled down your site.
What is the moral of the story? Use a variety of traffic generation methods. Find the most effective methods for your business and scale them up. By scaling them up, I mean doing more of it. If you write 2 articles a day and it is working out well for you, do more. Write maybe 4 articles a day and see your results potentially double. If you are getting good returns from spending $10 a day from pay per click advertising, you might want to consider increasing it to $20 a day. It sounds simple enough but it works like magic. Find what works and scale it quickly.
